About the Founder

Ria Devika Bhasin

Ria Devika Bhasin is a student at Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi. She is an active member of her school's Debate and Model United Nations Clubs and would describe herself as a passionate debater who has been arguing since she could talk!

Ria believes strongly in the interdependence of humanism and equality and is passionate about social outreach. She is an ardent writer as well, and hopes to influence the world one article at a time. Channeling her passions into Operation W.H.E.N, she hopes to create an impact and provide girls an opportunity they have never been given before. 

When she is not debating or tapping away on a laptop about a human rights issue, Ria can be found on the stage practicing dialogues, singing, strumming the guitar or finding peace in the melodies of a piano.
